There’s a celebration planned on April 17 that marks nearly six years of progress by the region’s state-supported P-16 Council, which has been on a mission to align the region’s educational and workforce stakeholders to improve the quality of life for all citizens. In honor of this progress, the Council will unveil a new name, discuss several upcoming new programs, and give each of five students a $1000 scholarship.
The scholarship winners come from Coastal Bend communities all over – Aransas Pass, Corpus Christi, Ingleside, and Sandia. They will be recognized by the P-16 Council’s 100+ educational leaders from the area’s top institutions, such as Texas A&M Corpus, Del Mar College, Coastal Bend College, Texas A&M Kingsville, Workforce Solutions, Corpus Christi ISD, and many others.
